Local Economy Assessment 2004

The Local Economy Assessment is a regular assessment of the state of the Hertfordshire economy.

Traditionally the Local Economy Assessment has been a reference document for those with an interest in the development of the local economy. In 2004 it was, more than ever, a collaborative effort of Hertfordshire partners and an attempt was made to make it more relevant to those concerned with the well-being of our communities. To reflect this it was entitled the Local Economy Assessment 2004 'Understanding Hertfordshire'.

The assessment is broken down into the following sections:

  • Hertfordshire Key Facts
  • Executive summary
  • Chapter 1 - The economy
  • Chapter 2 - Enterprise
  • Chapter 3 - Labour market
  • Chapter 4 - Skills
  • Chapter 5 - Education
  • Chapter 6 - District profiles
  • Annex

These are available by selecting the link entitled Local Economy Assessment 2004 (to the right hand side of the screen).
