Practice Based Commissioning health profiles

Practice Based Commissioning (PBC) was first introduced in 2005. Its purpose is to involve GP practices and clinicians directly in the commissioning of services to provide the best possible care for patients.

There are 11 PBC Groups and 2 standalone practices which constitute PBC groups covering Hertfordshire. Public health profiles for each of the 11 larger groups were developed by Hertfordshire PCT for 2008 and these have been updated for 2010 (these are available below), the standalone surgeries should refer to the larger group they previously belonged to (Puckeridge= North Locality and Red House = Hertsmere).
