Quarterly unemployment in Hertfordshire by ward
This section provides quarterly data on the numbers of claimant count unemployed in wards in Hertfordshire ranked by the proportion of the resident working age population unemployed. Data is provided for January, April, July and October only for 2005 onwards, however data is available to download from the NOMIS website for individual months going back to February 2004. The NOMIS website is available by selecting the link entitled NOMIS (on the right hand side of the screen).
Please note that from August 2010 there has been a change to the definition of working age population to include females aged 60 to 64. This means that female and total claimant count proportions will have been adjusted downwards. This has also been applied retrospectively to historic data. Historic data held here will be updated in due course.
