Ethnic communities
This section contains information on different ethnic communities.
Estimates of the resident population by ethnic group are available below. Data is available from both the 2001 Census and the Office for National Statistics "Experimental Statistics" for Mid Year Resident Populations by Ethnic Group.
The Diverse Herts website was developed from a two year Heritage Lottery funded project led by Hertfordshire Museums working in partnership with seven museums in the county. It's aim is to provide information about the different communities who are part of local areas or browse the archive to find memories, photographs or objects from people who have come to settle in the county.
